Spring 2011: Day and afternoon courses

The springtime has arrived and we are happy to propose you day and afternoon activities on the water.

We have prepared windsurf, catamaran and kayak sessions that will take place at Club Nautique d'Antibes.

You will learn windsurfing if you are a beginner, or improve your skill if you are an advanced rider.

What you can take to windsurf session

Hi! In this post we are answering frequently asked questions on our activities.

How to book a place in the course?
Add yourself to the spreadsheet corresponding to the course you want to participate in. Then bring your cheque (adressed to AGOS) to Jan (F210) before the subscription deadline.
Please note that sessions are assured with 10 participants minimum.
Please pay attention to deadlines for subscription.

How much does the course cost?
A half-day session with AGOS subvention costs 22EUR,
without one - 30 EUR.
A full-day session with AGOS subvention costs ?? EUR,
without one - ?? EUR.


Can I pay by cash?
Unfortunately, AGOS doesn't accept paying by cash. However, it is possible to pay with a cheque of another person.

At what time does the course start and end?
A half-day session is from 10pm till 13pm
A full-day session is from 10am till 5pm.
We advise your to come 15 minutes before the course to change the clothes and prepare your equipment.


Where I should come? 
The course is taking place at Club Nautique d'Antibes, plage la Salis. You can find it on the map
.

What should I wear?
For the windsurfers:
  1. If you are a beginner, we advise you to wear a shorty wetsuit (in April-May). 
  2. Wear neoprene slippers. They'll stop you from slipping off the board too often.
  3. A pair of mittens (optional).
  4. Don't forget the sunscreen.
For the catamaran sailors:
  1. Wear a pair of shorts, 
  2. a T-shirt, 
  3. a sweater (optional), 
  4. a windbreak jacket and 
  5. an old pair of running shoes you don't mind getting wet,
  6. a hat is always nice. 
  7. And don't forget the sunscreen.

What should I take with me?
An extra set of clothes and a towel so you can shower after the course. For a full-day session bring your picnic!

What happens if the weather is bad?
The course gets postponed to some other day or is cancelled. Your INRIA course organiser is in charge of informing you if the course does not take place on the morning of the planned session. We do not charge you for a cancelled course.
